For more than three decades, Reiki has been woven into the way I hold space. Whether facilitating online or in person, I use Reiki to support nervous system regulation, create a greater sense of safety, and deepen the experience of being compassionately witnessed. When facilitating in person, Reiki also allows for intentional, consent-based supportive touch when appropriate. If you wish to facilitate breathwork using Reiki in the way I teach, First and Second Degree Reiki Certification are an essential part of your training pathway. If you're already a Second Degree Reiki practitioner, we'll build upon your existing foundation. If you're new to Reiki, we'll create a personalized pathway that includes both Reiki and breathwork certification. Your Mentorship Journey Certification is based on demonstrated readiness rather than simply completing a checklist. Every facilitator develops at a different pace, and your mentorship will be personalized to support your growth. Step One • Experience the Work Receive at least 10 Transformational Breathwork sessions through a combination of group and private experiences. Before holding space for others, it's essential to experience the work yourself. These sessions allow you to deepen your relationship with your own breath, develop greater self-awareness, and experience what it feels like to be lovingly held before becoming the one offering that support. You cannot authentically hold someone somewhere you haven't been willing to go yourself. Step Two • Observe Observe me facilitating 5–8 complete breathwork experiences. Notice not only what I do, but what I don't do. We'll explore pacing, timing, nervous system regulation, language, silence, compassionate witnessing, music curation, themed experiences, and the subtle art of knowing when less is more. Step Three • Practice Begin facilitating your own breathwork experiences while receiving personalized mentorship and feedback. We'll refine your confidence, presence, pacing, nervous system awareness, music curation, language, and facilitation style. Step Four • Demonstrate Readiness Lead at least three complete breathwork experiences while I observe. Following each session, we'll debrief together, celebrate your strengths, identify opportunities for growth, and continue refining your skills. You'll never be encouraged to facilitate beyond your readiness. Certification is awarded when you've demonstrated the presence, discernment, confidence, and safety required to guide others with integrity.
